Vida Cascais shapes the municipality's Local Health and Social Solidarity System (SL3S), and is the result of an effort by several partners (central government, local government, social partners and civil society), in order to ensure access to integrated health and social support services for the entire population.

This project is based on promoting universal and free access to responses that promote well-being and quality of life for citizens, in its various dimensions: health, social support, housing, education, sports, culture and leisure, valuing personal development throughout life and family support in all circumstances.
