Cascais Próxima, E.M., S.A. is a Municipal Company, founded in 1999, whose share capital is held in full by the Municipality of Cascais.
The object of this Municipal Company includes the provision of a wide range of services, such as the construction and maintenance of urban infrastructure and equipment, the preparation of architectural and engineering projects, the launch, execution and supervision of municipal works contracts, the maintenance and cleaning of municipal equipment, energy efficiency and also the integrated management of mobility in the municipality of Cascais (namely through the promotion and management of soft mobility services, public passenger transport and parking management in the municipality).
In a planned and sustained manner, the company has been growing, not only in its operational capacity, but also in new areas of intervention.
Cascais Próxima has become the Municipality's main partner in implementing the sectoral policies established by the Municipality for the management and maintenance of the public space, as well as for the implementation of energy efficiency measures and mobility policies that contribute to a cleaner, more accessible and closer municipality.
